Amelia joins the WCDMZ team with passion for fundraising as a vehicle for social change. She has over 20 years of both fundraising and program experience with a range of international nonprofit organizations, including Global Fund for Women, Room to Read, the Asia Foundation, and Give2Asia. Drawing on her experience as both a fundraiser and a programmer, she hopes to mobilize networks and resources worldwide to help WCDMZ achieve its goals. Amelia graduated with a masters in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where she focused on international development and political economy, as well as a bachelor of arts in economics from Cornell University. She is the mother of three daughters, who keep her centered and motivate her work to make the world a better place for women and girls. In her spare time, she loves to take hikes, go biking, read memoirs and food writing, and frequent farmer’s markets and craft fairs.
