Kathleen Ok-soo Richards
Kathleen Ok-soo Richards is the Communications Consultant for Women Cross DMZ. She is a strong believer in the power of feminist leadership and is a passionate advocate for elevating the voices of those who have been marginalized or underrepresented. She has helped bring international attention to the global feminist movement for peace on the Korean Peninsula, coordinated online actions and initiatives, and driven communication strategies. Previously, she was an award-winning editor and journalist for 12 years. She began her career at the Women of Color Resource Center in Berkeley, Calif., and obtained her master’s degree in journalism at UC Berkeley.
