Statement from Women Cross DMZ in Support of Black Lives

As anti-militarist feminists committed to peace, Women Cross DMZ stands in solidarity with all the protesters across the country and around the world who are demanding justice for the police murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and so many others.
We must dismantle the white supremacist patriarchal system that oppresses and kills Black people in this country, the same system that spreads violence, chaos, and instability around the world in the name of US “national security.”
True human security means valuing people and the planet over profit, committing to reparations for historic and systemic harms, and protecting the most vulnerable among us.
