In 2019, Korea Peace Now! launched the Korea Peace Now! Grassroots Network to organize communities in the United States to call for a shift in U.S. policy for lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula. The KPNGN mobilizes an intergenerational cross section of Korean Americans, anti-war/peace activists and progressives, college students, and allied organizations (peace, disarmament, humanitarian, social justice, etc.).

WCDMZ organizing

Through KPNGN, Women Cross DMZ has built a formidable grassroots movement for peace with over 700 members around the country. We host monthly national meetings, and our three-part New Member Orientation Series welcomes new members while providing them with an overview of how we educate, advocate, and organize for Korea peace.

Our Advocacy, Coalition-Building, Education, and Membership Committees, plus our Korean Language and Faith-Based Caucuses, organize monthly meetings and support various online and in-person events. The KPNGN is led by a volunteer Steering Committee.

KPNGN members organize regional actions, advocate to their elected representatives, educate fellow grassroots members, write letters to editors and opinion pieces, and tell their personal stories about why ending the Korean War is important to them.
